Welcome to Titletown, USA -- or rather, Green Bay, Wisconsin; home of the NFL team The Green Bay Packers that helped give the town its mighty nickname.

Sports are a very large part of the culture here in Green Bay. There are a number of stadiums and arenas available for residents and visitors to watch and participate in the many number of games with a number of excellent teams. The more well known professional teams include:

The Green Bay Bullfrogs; a collegiate baseball team that play in the Northwoods League, and have their home games hosted in the Joannes Stadium.

Green Bay Bilzzard; a professional arena football team that plays in the af2 minor leagues of the Arena Football League, and is headed by former Green Bay Packers linebacker, Brian Noble.

And, of course, there is the NFL Team, The Green Bay Packers. The team has won twelve league championships, which is more than any other team in the NFL (thus giving Green Bay the nickname "Titletown"), and are the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team in the US.

The city also hosts a large number of events, and has a variety of dining spots. Green Bay also contains plenty of nightlife opportunities throughout the city that will be sure to please all, and are easily accessible with the city's public transit or cabs.

You may want to check out the Bay Beach Amusement Park that features a few rides for children such as bumper cars and a small-scale Wisconsin Central passenger train ride. The Amusement park is generally the center of the commercial outdoor recreational area of Green Bay. Nearby there is Kastle Park where you can test your sports skills by playing paintball or trying out the batting cages. There are also bumper-boats, go-carts and mini-golf.

Green Bay is home to two large shopping malls, a number of strip malls, and all kinds of unique shopping destinations. Bay Park Square & the Village at Bay Park is considered to be the main shopping center in the Green Bay area. Bay Park Square has a football stadium-themed food court filled with seven different eateries and two giant flat-screen television sets at both ends of the food court for your viewing pleasures. The Village at Bay Park contains popular shopping venues like Fashion Bug, JCPenney, and DSW.

The East Town Mall is a smaller shopping center/strip mall hybrid located on the east side of the city. The current anchors for the mall are Hobby Lobby, Fashion Bug, Office Max, Kohl's, Petco, Shopko and ALDI. There are also approximately ten speciality shops and one restaurant. A budget cinema is also located inside of the mall next to Hobby Lobby.
