When you have a zip in Green Bay, you are guaranteed to have a lot of things to do. The city may be relatively small as major US destinations go, but that does not mean we aren't developed! It's a great place to take advantage of a number of recreational opportunities. We've broken them down into a few different categories so you can quickly refer to the list of things you enjoy most, whether you are a Barrie catering company on a staff retreat or a full time resident of this wonderful city.
Things to Do
Well, for a Green Bay resident in football season, there is really only one thing to do on a Sunday or Monday, and that is take in a Packers game at Lambeau Field. There is nothing more appealing to a resident of our fair city than watching the Packers continue the legacy of their storied franchise, making other teams look like they wear cloth diaper covers when measured against our historic success.
Now, we are prepared to admit that not everyone visiting or living in Green Bay will be a football fan. Fortunately, we are more than just a one horse town. Lovers of the natural world will love taking in the North Eastern Wisconsin (NEW) zoo or the Green Bay Botanical Garden. The zoo offers exhibits of a wide range of exotic and North American animals. The Botanical Garden is an impressive display of what can be grown in the area with the right application of nursery supply.
If history is more your thing, you might want to check out the National Railroad Museum. It is one of the oldest of its kind in the United States, dedicated to telling the history of rail travel. As the iron lines are at the very foundation of our nation's success, almost everyone with a stake in America enjoys the look at the past this complex offers.
You might be on a bit of an amusement trip, travelling from a Toronto B&B to a hotel in Green Bay to a condo in New York just to check out what kinds of theme parks you will find. Green Bay has a small amusement park in Bay Beach for those who like little thrills. More importantly, it is part of the Bay Beach recreational area, which offers a wide range of activities for just about everyone.
